with findings from the qualitative studies (Hong et al., 2017). Through iterative discussion, reflection and synthesis, the researchers (MB and DA) will identify themes to create a thematic synthesis and map for each research question. If applicable, narrative synthesis will be employed to identify key themes, patterns or relationship across the data and construct a narrative that describes the autisticburnout phenomenon. Where appropriate, the thematic map and narrative synthesis will be supported by illustrative examples of quotations. Synthesis will be led by both MB and DA via a collaborative approach with regular input at all stages. Analysis will involve recursively moving through the data by reading and re-reading responses, while simultaneously making notes of codes, and then themes
