Evaluation of different artificial intelligence applications in responding to regenerative endodontic procedures. The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in healthcare is revolutionizing the workflows of healthcare professionals, enabling faster and more accurate patient treatment. This study aims to evaluate the accuracy of responses provided by different AI chatbots to questions that dentists might ask regarding regenerative endodontic treatment (RET), a procedure that shows promising biological healing potential. A total of 23 questions related to RET procedures were developed based on the American Association of Endodontists (AAE) 2022 guidelines. These questions were presented to three platforms: Google Bard (Gemini), ChatGPT-4o, and ChatGPT-4 with a PDF plugin

Tooth vitality and periapical healing: is Biodentine at par with MTA in regenerative endodontics? The study is a prospective, double-blinded randomised control trial that compares the mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) and Biodentine as the pulp space barrier material after induction of a periapical blood clot by over-instrumentation for endodontic regeneration in single-rooted mature permanent -significant. Both Biodentine and MTA when used as pulp space barrier in regenerative endodontic procedures showed promising results. In both groups significant reduction in the size of periapical radiolucency was noted along with resolution of patient's symptoms. There was also significant regain in the tooth sensibility postoperatively. As there was no significant difference between the two

Effect of ultrasonically-activated irrigation protocols used for regenerative endodontics on removal of dual species biofilm in a three-dimensionally printed tooth model: in vitro study. Eradication of residual biofilm from root canal dentine is critical for the success of regenerative endodontic procedures (REPs). To evaluate the influence of ultrasonically activated irrigants in concentrations reduction in bacterial count was obtained in G5 (3% NaOCl + PUI) followed by G4 (3% NaOCl), then G3 (1.5% NaOCl + PUI), and finally G2 (1.5% NaOCl). Results of the current study propose that a 3D-printed mature tooth model can be effectively used to analyze the antimicrobial effects of different irrigation protocols on dual-species biofilm. The use of NaOCl in concentrations used for regenerative

Regenerative Endodontic Procedures in Immature Teeth Affected by Regional Odontodysplasia. Regional odontodysplasia (ROD) is a rare developmental disorder characterized by hypo-mineralization and hypoplasia of enamel and dentin. Symptoms include poorly developed tooth buds, delayed eruption of permanent teeth in affected quadrants, and ghost teeth. The affected teeth often become necrotic, due of the enamel. Due to the teeth's early developmental stage, a regenerative endodontic treatment was attempted. All three teeth were treated using the same protocol following the AAE guidelines. After 4 weeks treatment of the premolar was completed, whereas the incisor teeth remained symptomatic and were and therefore, intracanal dressing with calcium hydroxide was repeated and left in place for five months

With increasing studies being published on regenerative endodontic procedures (REPs) as a treatment modality for mature necrotic teeth, the assessment of outcomes following regenerative endodontic procedures has become more challenging and the demand for a better understanding of the regenerated tissues following this treatment is rising. The study aimed to correlate cold, electric pulp testing (EPT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) signal intensity (SI) in mature necrotic teeth treated with regenerative endodontic procedures. Orthodontic movement after regenerative endodontic procedure in mature permanent tooth associated with dens invaginatus: a case report with 4-year follow-up. Regenerative endodontic procedures (REPs) are innovative treatments aimed at restoring damaged dental structures. However, the effect of orthodontic movement on REP-treated teeth is not well understood and may have significant long-term consequences. This study aimed to evaluate the impact of orthodontic movement on a mature permanent tooth associated with dens invaginatus that has undergone a regenerative endodontic procedure (REP). This report describes the case of a 13-year-old healthy male who presented with pulp necrosis and a chronic apical abscess (tooth number 2.2). Following REP according to the American Association of Endodontists
